The Olaine chemical plant BIOLAR specialises in the production of technologically complex chemical products and mixtures, intermediate products for the paint and varnish industry, as well as finished materials for coatings using technologies typical for these industries, using existing production facilities or creating new production equipment that meets the specifics of the technology.

Production of Azo initiators:
The total production capacity is more than 1600 tons per year.
Production of organic synthesis products:
The total production capacity is more than 1200 tons per year.
Production of varnishes and resins:
The design capacity of equipment for the production of semi-finished synthetic resins is 3,000 tons per year.
Production of varnishes and paints:
The capacity of the equipment for the production of paints, varnishes, alkyd enamels, copolymer primers and water-dispersion paints, as well as for the packaging of organic solvents, thinners, various consumer chemical mixtures (household chemicals, fireplace lighters, etc.) is 2000 tons per year.
The plant has three laboratories:
The research laboratory is engaged in the development of new types of chemical materials.
A separate specialised laboratory conducts research in the field of organic synthesis of paints and varnishes.
Analytical laboratory carries out constant control of raw materials and finished products.
Own treatment facilities:
The plant has its own treatment facilities with a unique microflora, with the introduction of wastewater treatment technology using modern chemical and biological treatment.
